Beauty Parlour
Beauty Parlour, by Deep Impact crafted a scintillating win in the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches – G1, the French version of the 1000 Guineas at Longchamp. Beauty Parlour kept her record unblemished with her fourth title from as many runs. Christophe Soumillon gave a perfect ride on Elie Lellouche trained filly. Lellouche had enough reasons to rejoice as the victory in this race is coming his way after a span of 21 years.

Beauty Pralour got the advantage of the steady pace set by stable companion Regatta and found it ideal to let her pal show the way. Beauty Parlour made headway inside the last quarter mile to take charge. Soumillon gave two taps and that was enough for the filly to stretch away easily and spare a length to Bollydale challenger, Up, at the finish. Topeka finished third a further 1 3/4 length adrift.

"She's still unbeaten so I'm very happy," said the trainer Lellouche. "Christophe rode a wise race, I think he had to go for home when he did. If he'd waited he might not have had enough time."
