INCIDENTS :
Permission was granted to trainer Mr.S.Dominic to withdraw NESSIE on veterinary grounds as it was walking lame with an injury on left stifle. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
Trainer Mr. J.Babu Rao was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in declaration of weight in respect of his charge ASTOUNDING GALLOP.
Trainer Mr. S.Ganapathy was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in declaration of weight in respect of his charge STRING ALONG.
Jockey Y.S.Srinath, the rider of BECKET, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not coming in proper attire to the weighing room to fulfill his riding engagement.
Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of ASTOUNDING GALLOP, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course approaching the 300 Metres.
Jockey N.T.Callow, the rider of SPEARHEAD, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course between the 300 Metres and 200 Metres.
Jockey M.A.Gallagher, the rider of STRING ALONG, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course between the 300 Metres and 200 Metres.
Compulsory Samples were taken for analysis from the following 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed horses viz.:
