Category - I

1                THE T.CHANDRASEKHAR REDDY MEMORIAL CUP: A Trophy value Rs.25,000 presented by the HYDERABAD RACE CLUB and Rs.1,60,000 to the winner, Rs.80,000 to the second, Rs.75,000 to the third,  Rs.25,000 to the fourth,   Rs.8,000 to the fifth and Rs.7,000 to the sixth.

For horses, 3 year olds and upward.   

WEGIHTS: 3 year olds  .. 49 kgs. : 4 year olds and upward .. 50.5 kgs.

PENALTIES : Winner of a Category I race or a race of value Rs.1,50,000 or over (other than a Category/Maidens race) 2 kgs., or either of 2 such races 4  kgs., or either of 3 such races 6 kgs.,  or  either of 4 such races 8  kgs., or either of 5 or more such races 10 kgs.

In addition: Winner of a race of value Rs.5,00,000 or over 1 kgs., or of a race of value Rs.10,00,000 or over 2 kgs., or of a race of value Rs.15,00,000 or over 3 kgs.       

ALLOWANCES : Fillies and Mares  ..  1.5 kgs.

Category - II

2                THE JOCKEY V.RAJASEKHAR MEMORIAL CUP: A Trophy value Rs.15,000 presented by HYDERABAD RACE CLUB and Rs.1,45,000 to the winner, Rs.72,500 to the second, Rs.67,500 to the third,  Rs.25,000 to the fourth,   Rs.8,000 to the fifth and Rs.7,000 to the sixth.

For horses, 2 year olds only.   

WEIGHTS: Colts and Geldings  ..  50 kgs., :  Fillies  ..  48.5 kgs.,

PENALTIES : Winner of a race 5 kgs., or of two races 9 kgs., or of three or more races or a race of  value Rs.2,00,000 or over 12 kgs.,            

Distance  - (About)            1200   Metres.

3                THE WISHFUL THINKING PLATE: Rs.1,35,000 to the winner, Rs.67,500 to the second, Rs.62,500 to the third, Rs.20,000 to the fourth, Rs.6,000 to the fifth and Rs.5,500 to the sixth.

For horses, 3 year olds which have won atleast one race and for horses, 4 year olds and upward which have won atleast a Category II/III race.  Winner of a Sweepstakes (except Byerly Turk, Darley Arabian, Godolphin Barb and Alcock Arabian Stakes), a Category I or more than four races (either of Category II/or a race of value Rs.1,00,000              or over other than a Category race) not eligible.

WEIGHTS: 3 year olds .. 49 kgs., : 4 year olds and upward .. 50.5 kgs.

4                THE SUMMER SNOW PLATE: Rs.1,20,000 to the winner, Rs.60,000 to the second, Rs.55,000 to the third, Rs.20,000 to the fourth, Rs.6,000 to the fifth and Rs.5,500 to the sixth.

A handicap for horses, 3 year olds and upward, rated upto 70.   

Distance  - (About)            1200   Metres.

Category - III

5                THE GOLDILOCKS PLATE: Rs.1,10,000 to the winner, Rs.55,000 to the second, Rs.50,000 to the third, Rs.15,000 to the fourth, Rs.5,500 to the fifth and Rs.5,000 to the sixth.

A handicap for Maiden horses, 3 year olds and upward, rated upto 50.   

Distance  - (About)            1400   Metres.

6                THE ROMAN BEAUTY PLATE: Rs.1,10,000 to the winner, Rs.55,000 to the second, Rs.50,000 to the third, Rs.15,000 to the fourth, Rs.5,500 to the fifth and Rs.5,000 to the sixth.

A handicap for horses, 3 year olds and upward, rated upto 30.   

Distance  - (About)            1100   Metres.

Entries will close at 02:00 PM, on Thursday, 20 December, 2007 and for horses who qualify      subsequently at 11:00 AM, onThursday, 27 December, 2007

Handicaps will be published at 06:00 PM, on Thursday, 27 December, 2007

Forfeits will fall due at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, 29 December, 2007

Declarations boxes will be opened at 9:30 AM, on Sunday, 30 December, 2007
