Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of GUR KRIPA, reported that his saddle shifted back passing the 800 Metres, as such he could not offer sufficient assistance to his mount thereafter. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.

Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.1,000/- for not using Cross Nose Band on his charge BENEDICT for the use of which prior permission had already been obtained. Subsequently Cross Nose Band was put on the horse before it left the paddock.

ONE FROM A BILLION (Suraj Narredu) sustained a cut injury on right fore cannon.

Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was fined Rs.2,000/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge SICILY (Tauseef Ahmed) as regards rider.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to withdraw GORGEOUS GOLD on veterinary ground as it was found to be walking lame on left fore due to sprained knee. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the race that ADALWIN (Neeraj Rawal) pulled up lame on right hind. Trainer Mr. Darius R Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

ADALWIN (Neeraj Rawal) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.

ROYAL SPIRIT (R Vaideeshwaran) sustained a cut injury on right nostril.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna to the Stewards for contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading "saddling of horses" read with Rule No.114(b)(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing in respect of his charge ROYAL SPIRIT (R. Vaideeshwaran) in that the saddle on his charge completely shifted over the withers awkwardly passing the 800 Metres whereby the rider totally lost control over his mount and got unbalanced and dismounted before the winning post. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna. After deliberations, they decided to fine him a sum of Rs.10,000/- for contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading "saddling of horses" read with Rule No.114(b)(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing in respect of his charge ROYAL SPIRIT (R. Vaideeshwaran) in the above race.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Valdir DeSousa, the rider of IBELIEVEINMIRACLES to the Stewards for contravention of Rule Nos.161(i) and 101(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing in that he rode in a foul manner and indulged in misconduct, in deliberately hitting Jockey R. Vaideeshwaran, the rider of ROYAL SPIRIT on his inside passing the 500 Metres. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined Spokesman Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy for Jockey Valdir DeSousa and Jockey Valdir DeSousa himself. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to withdraw the Jockey's licence granted to Jockey Valdir DeSousa from 16-8-2012 to 15-11-2012 (both days inclusive) and fine him a sum of Rs.25,000/- for contravention of Rule Nos.161(i) and 101(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing (not permitted to ride work) on his mount IBELIEVEINMIRACLES in the above race.

Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of COWBOY CAL, reported that his mount was hanging out in the straight. Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

SARANG (R. Vaideeshwaran) sustained cut injury on left fore pastern.

MOUNTAIN HIGH (Santosh Kumar Das) was extremely fractious, reared up and sat back in the gates for a considerable period of time. Under the circumstances it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's order.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of CLEVER TRICK, reported that his mount was not galloping fluently during the race as such he had to pull up his mount passing the 800 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and was found to have sustained a bleeding cut injury on left hind resulting in severing of the lateral aspect of the hoof as such pulled up lame on left hind. Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of SPEEDY GIRL, reported that his mount was hanging in after rounding the final bend. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey R. Vaibhav, the rider of SUPER SPECTACLE, reported that he lost his right stirrup at the start which he regained within the first 50 Metres.

Jockey P.S. Chouhan, the rider of MYSTERE, placed II by the Judge objected against Jockey Vivek, the rider of ATTRACTOR, placed I for "near 300 Metres ATTRACTOR's rider, the winner, came in and pushed HAMSAFAR who was next to me, so Vinod Shinde, the rider of HAMSAFAR came on to me and pushed my horse, which resulted in unbalancing my horse, because of this I lost a certain race". The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.

ATTRACTOR (Vivek) sustained a cut injury on right hind coronet.
