At the request of Trainer Rehanullah Khan, UPROAR was examined at 0815 hours on the race day (16/10/2011) and was found to be sore by the left fore leg,  as such the gelding was certified unfit to race and hence withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race. 

At the start, ARABIAN STAR (Vikram Jodha) jumped out awkwardly outwards and went on to SHERMAN FLAIL (Akash Agarwal).

Trainer Narendra Lagad and Jockey Akash Agarwal were questioned regarding the running and riding of SHERMAN FLAIL. Instructions were to be well up and ride out. The Jockey was informed that he had not made sufficient effort to be as instructed and then he had travelled wide and raced on the Main Track. The Trainer added that he had specifically told the Jockey not to go on the Main Track. An enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of SHERMAN FLAIL and a reported will be submitted shortly.

After the race, ARABIAN STAR was found to be sore by the right fore leg, and had a cut injury at the right hind pastern. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

After the race, SHERMAN FLAIL was found to be sound. PARIS HILTON had lost her left fore plate.

On arrival at the Gates, SYLVINIA was examined by the Club’s VO and found to be sore by the right hind leg. As such, the filly was certified her unfit to race and was withdrawn from the race before coming under the Starter’s Order. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

At the start, BY THE WAY (V.Phadke) jumped out awkwardly outwards.

Approaching 800 metres, SAVAGE GARDEN (Akash Agarwal) was steadied while racing behind BEEMER (M.A.Roushan).

Jockey Akash Agarwal (SAVAGE GARDEN) has been cautioned for allowing his mount to shift in under the use of the whip in the straight.

After the race, THE SAINT was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is no to race for the stipulated period of 4 weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

After the race, BEEMER was observed to have a cut injury at the right hind fetlock. ARABIAN EMPIRE and BY THE WAY were found to be sound.

At the request of Trainer Rehanullah Khan, MAJOR WAGER was examined at  1045 hours on the race day (16/10/2011) and was found to be sore by left fore leg with swelling on left fore pastern and left hind fetlock, as such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and hence withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

AZUL (Aadesh Kumar) planted and was assisted out of the Gates. Trainer Altaf Hussain has been asked to give the gelding more Gate Practice and to show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

After the race, ENLIGHTENMENT was found to be sound.

At the start, RUNNING SUN (Dashrath Singh) tried to veer to the outside.

Soon after the start, RUNNING SUN (Dashrath Singh) shifted in before the Red Marker and tightened LIVING THE DREAM (D.S.Rathore). Jockey Dashrath Singh has been cautioned.

Passing 400 metres OH CALCUTTA (Shrikant Kamble) was inconvenienced as LIVING THE DREAM (D.S.Rathore) shifted inwards. Jockey D.S.Rathore has been cautioned.

After the race, DANCING DAME & LIVING THE DREAM were found to be sound.

MIDNIGHT CLUB (P.Trevor) stopped on the way to the Starting Gates and refused to proceed despite of efforts. As such, the mare was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order. Trainer Nina M.Lalvani has been asked to school her charge to proceed to the Starting Gates before next accepting to race.

Passing 800 metres, KERINGDINGAN (C.Rajendra) was steadied due to OCEAN GIRL (Suraj Narredu) shifting in. Travelling some distance further, ARCTIC MINSTREL (Shrikant Kamble) shifted out due to the bend and made contact with AL ZAMARUD (Sunny Chinoy).

Trainer Mansoor Shah has been fined Rs.2000/- for declaring incorrect shoeing for his charge DIVINE wherein the gelding was declared with Aluminium, Both Fore High Heels, however, on examination the gelding was found to have plain Aluminium plates.

After the race ZARACHA was found to have a cut injury on the right hind coronet. STUNTACULAR had a cut injury on the right fore cannon.

At the request of Trainer Rehanullah Khan, ASAHI was examined at 0800 hours on the race day (16/10/2011) and was found to have fever, as such¸ the colt was certified unfit to race and hence withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. Trainer Rehanullah Khan has been asked to obtain a fitness certificate from Club’s VO before next accepting to race the colt. 

After the race, YOUR LORDSHIP had a cut injury on the left hind pastern.

YOUR LORDSHIP (Akash Agarwal) was placed fifth and SCONE (R.K.Mahesh) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.

Trainer Bezan Chenoy has been fined Rs.1000/- for failing to produce the registered Racing Colours in respect of his charge ENCORE. The Jockey wore the Emergency Colours i.e. All Black.

Near 700 metres, ENCORE (Ladjadj Stephane) shifted in due to which MIRACLE OF MERCY (A.Sandesh) shifted in and inconvenienced CYPRESS POINT (C.Rajendra). Jockey Ladjadj Stephane has been cautioned.

Jockey Y.S.Srinath (KING JULIEN) reported that his mount lugged out throughout the race. Trainer M.K.Jadhav has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

After the race, DARK WARRIOR, KING JULIEN and CYPRESS POINT were found to be sound.

HIGH SOCIETY (S.N.Chavan) walked out of the gates and thereafter trotted for about a furlong. Trainer N.B.Chenoy has been asked to give the gelding more Gate Practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

At the start, STERLING SILVER (Sunny Chinoy) shifted out and made contact with C’EST LA VIE (C.Rajendra) who shifted out and at the same time SWEETER THEN LIFE (Nirmal Jodha) shifted in, due to which C’ESTA LA VIE was tightened and steadied, thereby losing position. Jockey Sunny Chinoy has been fined Rs.1000/- for railing to exercise proper control over his mount.

An Objection was lodged by Jockey Sunny Chinoy (STERLING SILVER, placed 4^th) against CALL TO ARMS (A.Sandesh) placed 2^nd . The reason being, entering the straight, between 400 metres and 300 metres, CALL TO ARMS shifed in and bumped his filly, whereby his filly was completely shaken up, which cost him a certain place. The Stewards interviewed the Jockeys concerned  and having considered the  submissions made by them, in conjunction with that of the Stipendiary Stewards  and relying on their judgment, decided to over-rule the objection.

Jockey R.Shelar (HIGHLAND WARRIOR) reported that his mount lugged out during the race, as such Trainer Ivor Fernandes has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

An enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of THAT’S MY MASTER and a report will be submitted shortly.

After the race, MACHO UNO and THAT’S MY MASTER were found to be sound.

At the request of Trainer Janardhan, FARAMARZ was examined at 1030 hours o 14/10/2011 and was found to be sore by the left fore leg due to painful open capped elbow, as such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and hence withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. 

Jockey Dashrah Singh (ATHOS) has been cautioned for shifting in before the Red Marker.

Jockey A.Sandesh (LAST TANGO) has been fined Rs.1000/- for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.

Jockey C.Rajendra (MACHALA) reported loss of his whip near 150 metres.

After the race, MACHALA was found to be sound.
