FASCINATING (App Vikash Tamang) was slow to begin.

Soon after jumping out of the gates STATE HERITAGE (Asghar, drawn 5) was inconvenienced by JIVE (Imran Khan, drawn 4) which jumped awkwardly ‘outwards’. 

Jockey Asghar when afforded an opportunity to explain the running of his mount b g STATE HERITAGE which trailed the field in the early stages and completed the course detached from field  could give no plausible explanation.  The gelding was impounded for veterinary examination and on immediate examination the Veterinary Officer reported that no ailment was noticed.  At a subsequent enquiry Jockey Asghar was shown the CCTV replay of the race and fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/- for failing to make any effort to improve his position during the early,  middle and final stages of the race and informed that should be ride in a similar manner in future, he would be reported to the Stewards for appropriate disciplinary action.

The veterinary Officer reported that JIVE and PYTHAGORAS returned bleeding from their both nostrils.  Trs. Shafiq Khan and Rutherford Alford were informed not to accept with their respective charges until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

b g  GOLDEN SQUARE (App Vikash Tamang) were very fractious and refused to be stalled.  Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn with the permission of the Stewards before coming under Starter’s orders.  The Starting Stall Certificate of the gelding has been revoked by the Starter.

CRADOC (Aadesh Kumar) was fractious while being stalled.

GONNA BE A ROKSTAR (Vinay Jaiswal) and SILKEN SENORITA (Akshay) were slow to begin.

Immediately after the race the Stewards held an enquiry with particular reference to the fall of b g MANEGE  (Shailesh Shinde) and the interference received by GONNA BE A ROKSTAR (Vinay Jaiswal) and CRADOC (Aadesh Kumar) during the concluding stages of the race.  At the conclusion of the enquiry it was established that the fall was accidental and no blame could be attached to any rider and the interference received by GONNA BE A ROKSTAR and CRADOC were consequent to the evasive action taken by the respective jockeys due to the fall of MANEGE.  hence the Stewards ordered the hoisting of the ‘all clear’ signal.  Jockey Shailesh Shinde was declared medically unfit by the Medical Officer to continue with his riding engagements for the day and the Veterinary Officer reported that b g MANEGE which sustained fracture on its right shoulder was destroyed on humanitarian grounds.

Jockey Gajender Singh, the rider of BADAL, reported loss of whip approaching the 400 metres.

Jockey Akshay, the rider of ROYAL DANCE, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for excessive use of the whip  (1^st offence).

Prior to the running of the race false rails were placed at the 1000 metres marker for approximately 30 metres as a precautionary measure due to the bursting of a water connection resulting in soft underfoot condition in that section of the track.

RAFFLES (App Ajoy Roy) was fractious while being stalled.

On jumping out of the gates HILLS OF THE MOON (Akshay) swerved ‘inwards’ thereby losing some ground at the start.  Tr. Patrick Quinn was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again.

Immediately after the running of the race the Stewards held an enquiry with particular reference to the fall of Jockey Afzal Khan, the rider of ch g BEETHOVEN passing the 1000 metres.  At the conclusion of the enquiry it was established that the fall was due to the positioning of the emergency false rails at the 1000 marker in that RAFFLES (App Ajoy Roy) travelling along the rails shifted ‘outwards’ carrying BERNARDINO (Shezad Khan) onto SILENCIO (Sk Israil) which bumped BEETHOVEN travelling on the far side, causing its jockey Afzal Khan to be unseated from his mount.  Subsequently the false rails were re-positioned.  Jockey Afzal Khan was examined by the Medical Officer and declared fit to ride.

Approaching the distance post CREDIT SWAP (Imran Khan) under pressure drifted to the outer portion of the race track.

RIVER PRIDE (App Ajoy Roy) was fractious while being stalled.

SEA WARRIOR (App Arman Khan) and SOLID SUCCESS (Md Imran) were slow to begin.

App Ajoy Roy, the rider of RIVER PRIDE, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for excessive use of the whip on his mount  (1^st offence).

Jockey Shezad Khan, the rider of NAUGHTY LASS, was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/- for excessive use of the whip on his mount (2^nd offence).

Jockey Gajender Singh, the rider CEE FOUR, reported that the saddle used on his mount shifted back during the final 20 metres of the race as such he was unable to ride his mount to complete advantage.  Tr. Patrick Quinn was fined a sum of Rs. 500/- for faulty saddling.

Jockey Mohit Singh, the rider of RECORD BREAKER, reported that the saddle used on his mount shifted back immediately on jumping out of gates and as such he was unable to ride his mount thereafter to complete advantage.  Tr. Vijay Singh was fined a sum of Rs. 500/- for faulty saddling.

Due to the mechanical failure resulting in  the starting gates opening on their own accord, the following horses loaded in their respective starting stalls namely SREENIDHI (App Vikash Tamang), HARSHIL (Afzal Hossain),  HYACINTHUS (Pradeep Kumar) and PASSPORT (Vinay Jaiswal) dislodged their riders and bolted.  Under the circumstances the above horses were withdrawn with the permission of the Stewards before coming under Starter’s orders.

On jumping out of the gates RANI HARSHA (I Khan) refused to raise a fluent gallop and trailed the field home.  In view of its performance Tr. R Alford was informed not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race.

The Veterinary Officer reported that HURRICANE ANDREW returned with a bleeding cut injury on its right hind.
