ARISEN STAR (Kishore Kadam) stumbled soon after jumping out of the gates.
 
BREAK THE HABIT (S John) lost some ground when accidentally brushing against the false rails approaching the 1000 metres.
 
Jockey Russell Xavier, the rider of APYROUS which drifted ‘outwards’ passing the distance post, was advised to exercise greater control over his mounts when placing them under pressure with the use of the whip.

REGAL BEARING (Afzal Khan) was fractious while being stalled thereby delaying the start of the race.
 
SPECTACULAR STYLE (Salim Khan) was slow to begin.

KNIGHT OF ROMANCE (C Alford) and PROMISES TO KEEP (B Sreekanth) were fractious while being stalled.

DIVINE SYMPHONY (Shezad Khan), RISE ABOVE (Shadab Khan) and SADDLERS PRIDE (Mohit Singh) were fractious while being stalled thereby delaying the start of the race.
 
b g SADDLERS PRIDE (Mohit Singh) planted and took no practical part in the race.  In view of its behaviour Tr. Jasbir Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race.  The Starting Stall Certificate of the gelding has been revoked by the Starter.
 
BLUE MOUNTAIN (Gajender Singh) and RIVER DIVINE (Nelson Maseyk) were slow to begin.
 
Approaching the final 1000 metres STAND APART (C Alford) and DIVINE SYMPHONY (Shezad Khan) were inconvenienced when SOLID SUCCESS (App B Srinivas Rao) improving on the outside and  HARNESS FREE (Melvyn Maseyk) shifted ‘inwards’ and ‘outwards’ respectively and thereafter approaching the 900 metres  HARNESS FREE (Melvyn Maseyk) galloping 3 horses wide from the running rails was bumped by STAND APART (C Alford).  At a subsequent enquiry Jockey Melvyn Maseyk was shown the CCTV replay of the race and reprimanded for galloping 3 horses wide of the running rails for no apparent reason.
 
ch f STAND APART (C Alford) which was racing prominently was observed to lose position approaching the distance post despite the best efforts of its rider.  Tr. Javed Khan was advised to keep the filly under observation and report ailment, if any.
 
 An objection was lodged by Jockey Melvyn Maseyk, the rider of HARNESS FREE placed 3rd by the Judge against Jockey Shezad Khan, the rider of DIVINE SYMPHONY placed 2nd  by the Judge on the grounds of “at about 700 metres he sharply cut across thereby I had to check my mount badly causing a break in my horse’s stride which cost me the second place”.   The Stewards after having interviewed Jockeys Melvyn Maseyk and Shezad Khan, unanimously resolved to over-rule the objection, the Judge’s  placings remained unaltered.

TWO IN ONE (Shailesh Shinde) was fractious while being stalled.
 
SILVER FOX (C Alford) and MISSCHEVIOUS TROT (M F Ali Khan) were restless in their respective stalls.
 
Jockey D K Ashish, the rider of RAZNANDAN, was reprimanded for allowing  his mount to shift ‘in’ soon after the start and inconvenience the horses drawn on his inside, the chief sufferers being MISSCHEVIOUS TROT (M F Ali Khan) and  RIVER BLITZ (Md Islam).
 
RIVER BLITZ (Md Islam) was denied a clear run approaching the 400 metres due to the crowding of the field.
 
Approaching the distance post RAZNANDAN (D K Ashish) shifted outwards under pressure.  Jockey D K Ashish was advised to exercise greater control over his mounts while placing them under pressure.

STAR WAGER (Md Imran) slipped out of its stall before the start was effected and was reloaded.
 
RAFFLES (App Ajoy Roy) was fractious while being stalled thereby delaying the start of the race.
 
HADDOCK (Kishore Kadam) was restless in its starting stall.
 
CEE FOUR (Afzal Khan, drawn 1) jumped awkwardly ‘outwards’ inconveniencing ASHWA PRABIR (B Sreekanth, drawn 2).
 
HURRICANE STAR (P Trevor, drawn 6) jumped awkwardly ‘outwards’ and  inconvenienced DEVIL IN DISGUISE (Shailesh Shinde, drawn 7).
 
SEA SHOWER (App Zarar Alam) was slow to begin.

Approaching the distance post STUPID CUPID (Shadab Khan) was carried wide when HURRICANE STAR (P Travor)  shifted ‘outwards’.  Jockey P Trevor was advised to exercise greater control over his mounts while placing them under pressure.
 
ch f RAFFLES  (App Ajoy Roy) was observed to run an erratic course in the final 400 metres of the race.  At a subsequent enquiry it was established that App Ajoy Roy was unable to take adequate corrective measures to keep the filly on an even course.  The Stipendiary Stewards keeping in mind that the   safety  and welfare of all riders and horses participating in a race was of the utmost priority, informed Tr. Vijay Singh, the master Trainer to the apprentice  not to  declare Ajoy Roy in races till further notice.
