EBONY PRINCESS (M F Ali Khan) was fractious while being stalled thereby delaying the start of the race.

Approaching the 900 metres REQUITE (Melvyn Maseyk) travelling along the rails was eased by its rider due to the crowding of the field and some distance later EVENING MIST (Md Islam) lost some ground when running into the heels of VENCE (Shailesh Shinde).  At a subsequent enquiry the following jockeys were interviewed, namely Shailesh Shinde (VENCE), M F Ali Khan (EBONY PRINCESS) and Md. Islam (EVENING MIST).  At the conclusion of the enquiry it was established that EVENING MIST ran into the heels of VENCE (Shailesh Shinde) when the latter had shifted ‘in’ due to the inward movement of EBONY PRINCESS which was making progress on the outside.  Jockey M F Ali Khan, the rider of EBONY PRINCESS was fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/- for careless riding and cautioned to be more careful in future.

SUCCESSFUL (App B Srinivas Rao) shifted ‘outwards’ during the concluding stages of the race.

EVENING MIST (Md. Islam) drifted to the outer portion of the race track approaching the distance post.

Soon after jumping out of the gates, DECLARED ASSET (B Sreekanth) and GREEN PASTURE (Vinay Jaiswal) brushed against each other.

Jockey Shadab Khan, the rider of NINE TENORS, was reprimanded in the presence of Tr. Shafiq Khan for traveling wide while rounding the bend for no apparent reason and for the tender handing of his mount in the final 200 metres of the race.

SHIVALIK SHAKTI (M Krishna) was observed to keep an erratic course in the run home.

Tr. Ms. Arti Doctor when afforded an opportunity to explain the performance of her charge dk bf TOUCH OF STYLE which ran detached from the field stated that the filly appeared to be not up to the mark with regard to its fitness, this despite her giving the filly what she thought was adequate preparation.   In view of its performance the Stipendiary Stewards informed Tr. Ms. Arti Doctor not to accept with her charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race.

MISTLETOE (Shailesh Shinde) brushed the false rails approaching the 400 metres.

AAMAR KAKU (Shailesh Shinde), SEA WARRIOR (B Sreekanth) and  SPECTACULAR STYLE (Pintu Das) were slow to begin.

SEA WARRIOR (B Sreekanth) was trapped wide without cover while rounding the bend.  The Stipendiary Stewards interviewed Jockey B Sreekanth after the race and cautioned him regarding the tender handling of his mount passing the distance post.

dk b f POKER PRINCESS, an acceptor in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Monday, 6^th August, 2012 and found to be lame on left fore.  Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn on veterinary grounds.  Tr. Jasbir Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Sr. Veterinary Officer.

GLYNNEATH (M F Ali Khan) jumped awkwardly from the gates.

RAPPADAN GLORY (I Khan) jumped awkwardly outwards from the gates inconveniencing EXXIN (Shailesh Shinde)

Jockey I Khan, the rider of RAPPADAN GLORY, was reprimanded for failing to hold his forward position in the early stages of the race and advised that he must make every effort not to lose ground for no apparent reason.

Jockey S Domingo, the rider of GENEROUS THOUGHT, reported loss of whip while rounding the bend.

BENJAMIN (Gajender Singh) and RITHAMBHRA (M Krishna) were slow to begin.

Tr. R Alford when afforded an opportunity to explain the poor performance of his charge b f BURST OF STARDUST App B Mahesh) as compared to its previous run in Race No. 16 held on 24^th July 2012,  stated while being  disappointed with the performance of the filly he was satisfied with the efforts of the rider.  He further stated that the filly after being well positioned in the early and middle stages of the race was sluggish in its response during the initial part of the home stretch and informed that the rider opined that his charge may be more suitable to  a longer distance race.  His explanation was noted.

G E N E R A L

1. Random testing for the presence of alcohol in respect of Jockeys S Domingo, C Alford, Melvyn Maseyk, Neeraj Rawal, Pintu Das and App B Srinivas Rao was carried out and found to be clear.

2. Urine samples.  Urine samples from the following horses were taken for clinical analysis :-
