Approaching the 700 metres marker HAPPY KINGDOM (Surjeet Singh) accidentally brushed against the false rails and lost some ground.
 
Tr. Shafiq Khan when given an opportunity to explain the improved performance of his charge b c GOOD ONE as compared to its previous runs i.e. in Race No. 2 & 20 run on 10th July and 24th July, 2012 where the colt ran unplaced, stated that he had instructed the rider that if circumstances permitted he was to take the colt on a start to finish mission.  Similar instructions were also given on the other two occasions.  However, both  riders in Race Nos. 2 & 20 were unable to do so, while  on this occasion due to the extremely poor competition the rider was able to take the colt to the front of the field.  He further stated that the stable did not fancy the colt to win this race and was pleasantly surprised with its victory.  The Stipendiary Stewards advised Tr. Shafiq Khan to ensure that his charges perform with a degree of consistency between runs.

MAMA’S DELIGHT (D K Ashish) was restless in its stall.
 
ROMAN CENTURION (B Sreekanth) stood flat footed as the start was effected thereby losing  approximately3 lengths at the start.  Tr. D M David was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again.
 
ROMAN CENTURION (B Sreekanth) making progress along the rails was shifted ‘outwards’ by its rider approaching the distance post when SPEED ANGEL (S John) momentarily shifted ‘inwards’.

Jockey D K Ashish, the rider of MAMA’S DELIGHT, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race.

POKER ANGEL (M Krishna) stood flat footed as the start was effected losing approximately 3 lengths at the start.  Tr. Jasbir Singh was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again.
 
Soon after the start GENTLE JEWEL (Vinay Jaiswal, drawn 5) was squeezed for room when ARCTIC FORCE (Pintu Das, drawn 4) and ALACRITY (S John, drawn 6) jumped awkwardly ‘outwards’ and ‘inwards’  from the starting gates.
 
GENTLE JEWEL (Vinay Jaiswal) was held in check by its jockey when racing fiercely between the 900 and 800 metres of the race.
 
Approaching the 900 metres SONGWRITER (B Sreekanth) was inconvenienced when ELUSIVE THOUGHT (App Ajoy Roy) shifted ‘inwards’ and again on approaching the 400 metres SONGWRITER racing between THRICE BLESSED (Kishore Kadam) and  ALACRITY (S John) was jostled for room  when kept tight by Jockey S John, the rider of ALACRITY.

TINTORETTO (B Sreekanth) was fractious while being stalled.
 
AAMAR KAKU (I Khan) was slow to begin losing approximately two lengths at the start.
 
Jockey S Rabbani, the rider of OAKDALE, was reprimanded for restraining his mount soon after jumping out of the gates for no apparent reason.
 
AAMAR KAKU (I Khan) and AGENT ARCHIE (Jugnu Gurung) drifted to the outer portion of the race track approaching the distance post.
 
Jockey Shezad Khan, the rider of WELCOME SMILE, was reprimanded for dropping his hands before passing the winning post.
 
Jockey I Khan, the rider of AAMAR KAKU, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for excessive use of the whip on his mount (1st offence).
 
The Veterinary Officer reported that AERATOR returned with minor cut injury on its right hind.

RIVER STAR (Md Islam) was fractious while being stalled.
 
ARKTOUROS (B Mahesh) which was running detached from the field during the middle stages of the race was observed to make much progress in the run home.

FOLLOW THE DREAM (Md Islam) was fractious while being stalled.
 
SEA WARRIOR (Vinay Jaiswal) was slow to begin.
 
Soon after the start FOLLOW THE DREAM (Md Islam) was inconvenienced when OCEAN FAIRY (App Zarar Alam) jumped awkwardly ‘inwards’.
 
On jumping out of the gates OCEAN CLIPPER (App Md Imran Ashraf, drawn 10) shifted ‘inwards’ and brushed against the inner rails.  Tr. Bharath Singh was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again.
 
Some distance after the start OCEAN FAIRY (App Zarar Alam), RAPPADAN GLORY (I Khan), STRAUSS (App Kishen Singh) and PETALOID (App Ajoy Roy) received various degrees of inconvenience.  At a subsequent enquiry it was established that SUPER HERO (Shailesh Shinde, drawn 7)  was responsible for the incident by shifting ‘inwards’ towards the rails when not adequately clear of the other runners.  Jockey Shailesh Shinde was fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/- for careless riding and was advised to be more careful in future.
 
Jockey Md. Islam, the rider of FOLLOW THE DREAM, was fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/- for the unsatisfactory riding of his mount in the final 400 metres of the race.
