PINE VALLEY (Vinay Jaiswal) and MELODY BELLE (Ajoy Roy) were slow to begin.

Jockey Shezad Khan, the rider of ANNIE HALL, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for the excessive use of whip on his mount (1st offence).

Mr. Vikash Jaiswal, the trainer of ch h PINE VALLEY, when afforded an opportunity to explain the poor performance of his charge as compared to its previous run in Race No. 37 run on 7th August, 2012 where it placed 2nd, stated that the stable fancied the horse’s chances in this race but  he was disappointed with its performance.  However, in hind sight the step down in the distances between the two races i.e., 1800 metres to 1400 metres in three days may have had a bearing on the performance, as his charge appeared to be running sluggish despite the attempts of the jockey to ride a forward race as instructed.  Jockey Vinay Jaiswal when questioned was of the similar view as that of the trainer.  The Stipendiary Stewards noted the explanations and advised Tr. Vikash Jaiswal to ensure that his charges run with a degree of consistency between runs.

FALLING SKY (Md Islam) was fractious while being stalled thereby delaying the start of the race.

TASVEER (Mohit Singh) was slow to begin.

INCANTO BLISS (Vinay Jaiswal) was slow to begin.

Approaching the 800 metres STAR EMPIRE (Md Islam) was momentarily inconvenienced by IMPRESSIVE MOVE (P S Chouhan) which was carried ‘inwards’  by INCANTO BLISS (Vinay Jaiswal).  Jockey Vinay Jaiswal was shown the CCTV replay of the incident and advised to keep his mount on an even course.

Passing the distance post STAR EMPIRE (Md Islam)  shifted ‘outwards’ under pressure.

INCANTO BLISS (Vinay Jaiswal) finished the race detached from the field.  Tr. D M David was informed not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance.

BLUE MOUNTAIN (Gajender Singh) was slow to begin.

Some distance after the start KAYADHU (Mohit Singh, drawn 11) shifted ‘inwards’ and bumped  TOUGH ONE (App Vikash Tamang, drawn 7).  At a subsequent enquiry Jockey Mohit Singh was shown the CCTV replay of the race and reprimanded for not exercising sufficient control over his mount.

Tr. Ms. Arti Doctor when afforded an opportunity to explain the running of her charge b f APPLE CANDY stated that she was disappointed with the ability of App Kishen Singh to judge the pace of the race when taking her charge on an unduly long lead in the early and middle stages of the race.  She was of the opinion that this long lead had an eventual bearing on the performance of the filly in the final stages of the race.  The Stipendiary Stewards interviewed App Kishen Singh along with his master trainer Mr. C Gleich and advised Mr. Gleich not to allow his apprentice to ride in races beyond 1400 metres till such time he gains more experience.

Jockey Mohit Singh, the rider of the winner BEETHOVEN, was severely reprimanded for starting his victory celebration before passing the winning post.

SILVER FOX (C Alford) was fractious while being stalled.

Jockey Shailesh Shinde, the rider of RAZNANDAN, was severely reprimanded for the unnecessary use of  whip on his mount in the final stages of the race.

STAR IMPACT (Afzal Khan) and SUPER HERO (App Zarar Alam) were fractious while being stalled.

AWESOME INDIAN (Kishore Kadam) and SUPER HERO (App Zarar Alam) were fractious in their respective stalls.

ROYAL DANCE (S Domingo) and AWESOME INDIAN (Kishore Kadam) were slow to begin.

Jockey S Domingo, the rider of ROYAL DANCE which was slow to begin,  was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for failing to make progress on his mount in the early stages of the race and severely cautioned to ensure that in future he must ride his mounts in such manner that leaves no room for query.
