VAANI (Mohit Singh), HOT IRON (M F Ali Khan) and PASSION ‘N’ FLAMES (Imran Chisty) were fractious while being stalled thereby delaying the start of the race.

Jockey Pradeep Kumar, the rider of PINE VALLEY, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for excessive use of the whip on his mount (1^st offence).

b g DEVILITTO arrived late to be paraded in the Paddock.  Tr. Patrick Quinn was advised to ensure that his charges are brought in time to be paraded failing which appropriate action would be taken against him.

A Stewards enquiry was held immediately after running of the race with particular reference to the fall of SEA WARRIOR (App Md Azharuddin) and SPECTACULAR STYLE  (Salim Khan) approaching the 400 metres.  The Stewards being satisfied that the falls were accidental and no blame could be attached to any rider, ordered the hoisting of the “ALL CLEAR” signal.

SEA WARRIOR (App Md Azharuddin) which jumped awkwardly ‘outwards’ from the starting gates thereby losing some ground, stumbled and fell when approaching the 400 metres.  Jockey Salim Khan, the rider of SPECTACULAR STYLE who was travelling behind  SEA WARRIOR was unable to take evasive action and ran into the fallen horse which caused his mount to fall.  Both App Md Azharuddin and Jockey Salim Khan were kept under observation.

The Sr. Veterinary Officer reported that b g SEA WARRIOR which fell  approaching the 400 metres was observed to have sustained suspected fracture on its left shoulder.  The gelding is under observation.

The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of b rig QUENTIN DERWARD from the race and instructed the Stipendiary Stewards to enquire into its identity.

ABACUS (B Gurang), ARABESK (App Ajoy Roy) and GONNA BE A ROKSTAR (Gajender Singh) were fractious while being stalled thereby delaying the start of the race.

TIM TAM WAY (Salim Khan) was slow to begin.

 PROMISES TO KEEP (Kishore Kadam) was slow to begin and lost considerable ground at the start.  Tr. D M David was advised not to accept with his charge until shown  to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race.

ARABESK (App Ajoy Roy) was observed to keep an erratic course passing the distance post.  App Ajoy Roy was advised to make every endeavour to keep his mounts on an even course when placing them under pressure.

Jockey Md. Shabbani, the rider of SNIPER, reported loss of whip approaching the distance post.

AUTOCRAT (Melvyn Maseyk) jumped awkwardly from the gates.

CEE FOUR (Shezad Khan, drawn 3) jumped awkwardly from the gates and thereafter was inconvenienced by ROYAL SAGA (M Krishna, drawn 4).

A Stewards enquiry was held into the running of the race with particular reference to the interference received by STAR OF ROSES (Imran Chisty).

An objection was lodged by Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of STAR OF ROSES placed 4^th by the Judge against Jockey Melvyn Maseyk, the rider of AUTOCRAT placed 1^st  by the Judge on the grounds of “on entering the straight the rider of AUTOCRAT started taking me out  towards the outer rails and I had to stop riding completely”.   The Stewards after having interviewed Jockeys Imran Chisty and Melvyn Maseyk,  resolved to up-hold the objection and revised the order of placings as under .

The Stewards continued with their enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockey Melvyn Maseyk who was charged for dangerous riding under Rule 161(i) of the RCTC Rules of Racing by the Stipendiary Stewards.  The Stewards not being satisfied with the explanations tendered by Jockey Melvyn Maseyk took into consideration his record and decided to suspend him from riding in races from 28^th August to 6^th October, 2012 (both days inclusive) for dangerous riding.  Mr. Maseyk was informed of his right to appeal.  The jockey was permitted to ride work.

OCEAN CLIPPER (Shezad Khan) which was fractious in its stall was slow to begin.

App Kishen Singh, the rider of ROYAL COMPANION which was slow to begin was reprimanded for travelling wide while rounding the bend for no apparent reason. 

Jockey Sk Israil, the rider of STAR WAGER was reprimanded  for the indifferent  handling of his mount throughout the race.

Tr. D Byramji was fined  sum of Rs. 2,000/- for failing to lodge a declaration form with respect to his charge ch f ABRONIA after having accepted to run.

CLEAR MANDATE (Suraj Narredu) was slow to begin.

The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of b c HARNESS FREE from the race and instructed the Stipendiary Stewards to enquire into its identity.

SPEED ANGEL (Shailesh Shinde), HADDOCK (Imran Chisty) and BRIGADIER (N S Parmar) were fractious in their respective stalls.

b f HYACINTHUS (Md Imran) ran detached from the field.  The filly was impounded for veterinary examination and on examination the Veterinary Officer reported that the filly was found to be stiff on hind quarters.  Tr. D M David was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Sr. Veterinary Officer.

Jockey M Krishna, the rider of  FANKAAR, reported loss of whip approaching the 400 metres.
