Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s Order. Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

GOLDEN SLIPPER (P Trevor) was extremely fractious at the Gates, refused to be stalled, dropped the rider and ran riderless anticlockwise. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s Order.

MISCHIEF (M J Gautam Raj Urs) sustained cut injuries over right hind coronet and fetlock.

Jockey Ishwar Pardeshi, the rider of ACE HIGH, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course before passing the red marker post.

Jockey T S Jodha, the rider of CHAKRAVYUHA BHEDAK, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting ‘in’ and causing interference to the horses on his inside, viz., SKY EMPRESS (Sarvan Kumar), MARIANELLA (Saddam Hussain) and GURUJOSH (M Rajesh Kumar), on his inside, passing the 1100 Metres.

Jockey Shrikant Kamble, the rider of VISUAL ELEMENT, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course in the final 100 Metres and, thereby, inconveniencing ACE HIGH (Ishwar Paradeshi) on his inside.

CHAKRAVYUHA BHEDAK (T S Jodha) sustained bruise on left chest wall behind girth.

GURUJOSH (M Rajesh Kumar) sustained deep cut on right stifle.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu to the Stewards for contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading “saddling of horses” read with Rule No. 114(b)(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing in respect of his charge, MARIANELLA (Saddam Hussain) in that the saddle on his charge shifted back badly in the last 400 Metres and further shifted towards the quarters and as such, the rider could not offer any assistance during the race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu, Jockey Saddam Hussain, Starter, Mr. K S Shanmukha Swamy and the Handlers, M/s.Kareem and Paddam Singh. After deliberations, they decided to fine Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu a sum of Rs.20,000/- for Contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading “saddling of horses” read with Rule No.114(b)(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing in respect of his charge, MARIANELLA (Saddam Hussain) in the above race.

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g VISUAL ELEMENT.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C Girinath to withdraw MAXIMUM CITY (Ramandeep S Bal) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting awkwardly due to sore back. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

WIN PRETTYBABY (R Vaideeshwaran) accidentally stumbled, approaching the 1200 Metres.

QUEENS CRUISE (Akash Agarwal) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

Trainer Mr. Z Darashah and Jockey P. Trevor were questioned regarding the running and riding of LAD LADY. The Trainer stated that (a) the horse was running after a long layoff of nearly five months, which ran over a distance of 2400 Metres in its last outing at Bangalore; (b) he had instructed the rider to keep it in the mid position and ride out in the straight; (c) as per his observation, his charge did not have initial speed and had to be nursed by the rider; (d) after entering the straight his charge, momentarily, could not get a clear run; and (e) in his opinion, the rider rode as per his instructions and that he was satisfied with his riding. The rider, when questioned, stated that (i) his mount could not match with the initial pace; (ii) after entering the straight, he did not have a very clear passage, wherein he had to repeatedly change the course; and (iii) he rode out to the best of his ability, but, his mount could only finish second. Their explanations were noted.

It was reported after the race that the left hind shoe on ASHKAN (A Velu) had apparently splayed during the race.

IRON MARSHALL (S Zervan) sustained cut injury on right stifle.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav to the Stewards for the inconsistent pattern of running and reversal of form of his charge, ABSOLUTE REALITY (M Rajesh Kumar), the winner of this race, as compared to its previous run in Race No.10 of the Mysore Summer Races 2012, i.e., The Beloved Prince Plate (About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 80 and above, run on Second Day, Wednesday, 30th May, 2012, when ridden by Jockey Himanshu, it ran unplaced.  The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav. After deliberations, they decided to fine Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav a total sum of Rs.20,000/- for the unsatisfactory explanation tendered during the enquiry and for the inconsistent pattern of running and reversal of form of his charge, ABSOLUTE REALITY (M Rajesh Kumar), the winner of this race, as compared to its previous run  in Race No.10 of the Mysore Summer Races 2012, i.e., The Beloved Prince Plate (About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 80 and above, run on Second Day, Wednesday, 30th May, 2012, when ridden by Jockey Himanshu, it ran unplaced.

He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. T Natraj was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track.

Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of CEASARIA, reported that his mount was hanging ‘out’ after rounding the final bend. Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Singh was informed to get it checked by the Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey Akash Agarwal, the rider of ON CALL, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting ‘in’ and causing interference to RIVER GEM (Sarvan Kumar), on his inside, approaching the 1000 Metres.

Jockey T S Jodha, the rider of ENFORCER, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course in the final 150 Metres of the race.
