The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Harish, the rider of PERFECT TEN,to the Stewards for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (3rd offence). The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the last race and interviewed Jockey Harish. After deliberations they decided to suspend Jockey
Harish from riding in races from 30-7-2003 to 31-7-2003 (both days inclusive) for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race.

Jockey B Prakash, the rider of SUPREME TREASURE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not exercising sufficient control over his mount thereby allowing it to shift towards the rails approaching the final 200 Metres.

Jockey Shobhan Babu, the rider of JACQUES CARTIER was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting `in` and causing interference to COMBAT WAY (B. Prakash) which had to be checked by its rider approaching the 800 Metres. As a result, STAR DIAMOND (Amit) travelling behind the latter also had to be checked by its rider.
