Jockey R Koch, the rider of GRAND PERE, was severely reprimanded for the incompetent handling of his mount during the race. He was informed that he must make every effort to improve his riding in future.

FAR STORM (U Sachin) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Karan Singh was advised to ensure that his charge was capable of running with the field in future.

WUTHERING HEIGHTS (B Prakash) ran detached from the field. Trainer S Ganapathy was advised to ensure that his charge was capable of running with the field in future.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey S Chandrashekar, the rider of WOVOKA to the Stewards for careless riding, in that soon after jumping out of the starting gates he came in` and caused interference to INDIAN WINE (Gnaneshwar) which passed it on to PARISIEN BELLE (Afsar Khan) on his inside and for coming `in` very sharply again approaching the 1000 Metres thereby causing severe interference to BRAVE PERSIAN (Md. Shafiq) on his inside which passed it on to LUCKY SPELL (F K Shabhuddin) along the rails which brushed the false rails. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Jockey Chandrashekar. After deliberations, they decided to suspend Jockey S Chandrashekar from riding in races from 3-6-2003 to 7-6-2003 (both days inclusive) for careless riding.

GRACE AND FAITH (S Rajesh) was observed to have burst its blood vessels after the race. Trainer Britto was advised to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey C Alford, the rider of CHARLESTON, was severely reprimanded for looking back approaching the 400 Metres for no apparent reason.

Trainer C A Kuts was fined Rs.500/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge SWINGING CONQUEST (Afsar Khan) as regards shoeing.

Jockey Aslam Kader, the rider of STAR SENSATION, reported that he lost his whip approaching the 400 Metres.

Jockey Ms Silva Storai, the rider of FIORENZZA, was severely reprimanded for shifting course towards the rails approaching the 700 Metres.

Jockey C Alord, the rider of ANDROPOV, reported that his saddle shifted back approching the 300 Metres. Trainer Vijay Singh was advised to be more careful in future regarding saddling.

Jockey A Velu, the rider of TRIPLE X was fined Rs.500/- for coming `in` sharply before passing the red marker post.

STAR WIND (Y S Srinath) (drawn 10) fly jumped awkwardly inwards and DANCE ROYALE (Mohd Yasin) (drawn 7) jumped awkwardly outwards from the starting gates thereby inconveniencing SMASHES (Shobhan Babu) (drawn 8) and OUTSMART (V R Jagadeesh) (drawn 9) both of which had to be badly checked by their respective riders.
