RCTC produces elephant out of a hat
RCTC is known to produce an elephant out of a hat. And that was the story in the poorly represented Calcutta race card on August 9. Barring the victory of the hot-favourite Allaying in the Mysore Race Club Cup, favourites took severe beating to the delight of survivors in the jackpot pool that paid massive dividends of nearly Rs 50,000 on each winning ticket.
