2. Astride King Solomon which incidentally was Jagdish's first ride as an apprentice jockey. The same horse provided him first success, few months later at Mumbai. King Soloman, an Arab horse, was trained by D W Balfour and owned by A D Abraham

Races are no longer held at Secunderabad, with the newly built race course at Malakpet at the old city of Hyderabad being the permanent venue.
