Race Reports

Change of riders were permitted on LOVELY GUERGON ( R Parmod) & DREAM PROSPECTOR (App.Jockey Irfan Ali) to Jockey Shakti Singh and Jockey Pawan Sharma respectively.

Due to non availability of Jockey the Stewards permitted Trainer A.Saulez to withdraw HEAVENLY ANGEL from the race.

CROSSWORD jumped out awkwardly and then veered out onto the rails and stopped galloping soon thereafter ,considering the behaviour of the horse Trainer R S Shekhawat was advised to give more gate practice and to be passed in a mock race.

Urine sample was taken from the winner LITTLE CUT in the presence of TrainerI.S.Parmar and was sent for analytical test.

THE JOHNIE WALKER PLT- LOVELY GUERDON -14TH APRIL,2008.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported that after interviewing Jockey R.Parmod ( LOVELY GUERDON) (Drawn 12) and considering his statement and reviewing the replay of the race Jockey R.Parmod was fined a sum of Rs.2000/- for causing interference to READY TO WIN (Pawan Sharma) and the Stewards accepted the same.

THE AZAD PLT.DIV.II – GORGEOUS BLUE –14TH APRIL,2008

The Stewards called in and questioned Jockey R.Parvesh (GORGEOUS BLUE) for the excessive use of whip on his mount (21 times) .After hearing his statements, considering the report of the Stipendiary Stewards the Stewards resolved to suspend him for two race days. The suspension dates will be notified later.

THE CHENNAI PLATE – BISMARK - 24th MARCH,2008.

The Stewards called in and questioned Jockey G S Shekhawat (BISMARK) for the excessive use of whip and his riding. Not being satisfied with his explanation he was fined Rs.3000/-

The Stipendiary Stewards after interviewing the Trainer and the Jockey and after reviewing the replay of the race not being satisfied with their explanations reported Trainer V S Parmar & Jockey Ramandeep S Bal before the Stewards for unsatisfactory running & riding.

The Stewards called in and questioned Trainer V S Parmar and Jockey Ramandeep S Bal and shown the replay of the race.

After hearing their statements, considering the report of the Stipendiary Stewards and their own observation based on the replay of the race the Stewards resolved as to suspend Jockey Ramandeep S Bal for 2 Race days for an ill judged race. The suspensions dates will be notified later.

THE RAZEEN PLATE. – CUTE N COLL - 31ST MARCH,2008

The Stipendiary Stewards after interviewing the Trainer and the Jockey and after reviewing the replay of the race not being satisfied with the explanations of the Trainer reported him before the Stewards for the inconsistent running of CUTE N COOL.

The Stewards called in and questioned Trainer V S Parmar.

After hearing his statements, considering the report of the Stipendiary Stewards and their own observation based on the replay of the race the Stewards resolved to fine a sum of Rs.5000/- for the inconsistent running and warned him for the future.

THE AZAD PLATE INTRICATE (Rajinder)(Drawn 1)- 14th April,2008.

The Stipendiary Stewards after interviewing the Trainer and the Jockey and after reviewing the replay of the both races the Stipendiary Stewards fined Trainer A. Khan a sum of Rs.5000/- for the contravention of the Racing Calendar Notification regarding the improved performance between Race Number 281 and Race Number 265 as there is only a 8 days gap and the improvement is over a distance .The Stewards after reviewing the replay of the races accepted the recommendation of the Stipendiary Stewards.

THE B.KHANNA MEMORIAL CUP.DIV.II- HIGH RISING (D.Kumar )(Drawn 2) -15th April,2008.

The Stipendiary Stewards after interviewing the Trainer he stated that he had instructed the Jockey to sit 2nd and do his best. When questioned Trainer stated that the Jockey did not follow the instructions and was not satisfied with the Jockey’s riding. Trainer A Saulez was warned that in future he must report the same to the Stipendiary Stewards .After reviewing the replay of the races the Stipendiary Stewards fined Jockey D.Kumar a sum of Rs.5000/- for not following the trainers instructions .

THE B.KHANNA MEMORIAL CUP.DIV.I PRIVATE EYE ( App. Jockey Arun Kumar ) (Drawn 2) -15th APRIL,2008 .

The Stipendiary Stewards after reviewing the replay of the race not being satisfied with the riding of Apprentice Jockey Arun Kumar fined a sum of Rs.3000/- for the unsatisfactory riding and he was severely cautioned and told repetition of similar offence would entail severe disciplinary action.

THE MYSORE PALACE PLT.DIV.I.- AL JAWAT (M.SHAHID)- 22ND APRIL,2008.

The Stewards called in and questioned Jockey M.Shahid (AL JAWAT) for the excessive use of whip on his mount (21 times) .After hearing his statements, considering the report of the Stipendiary Stewards the Stewards resolved to suspend him for two race days.
