Star Composer led the filed closely chased by Libertador and Crocodile Hunter on the outside and another three lengths behind Star Crush, Glaring Godzilla, Top Act, Time On & Title Shot. Star Composer brought them to view strongly challenged by Crocodile Hunter and the rest three lengths behind. Crocodile Hunter put his neck in front and held on Star Composer coming at him again in the last 100 m to win. Time On leisurely finished third.

Odds at Race Time: Al Awal 3-1, Royal Code & Helenaa 4-1, Sahebzadi 6-1.

Sahebzadi was withdrawn at the starting gates. Royal Code led them all on a start to mission and just held on from Champion Star. Royal Code was followed by Champion Star, Helenaa, Hunting Boy, Al Awal, Storm Command, Standing Ovation and the rest. Royal Code brought them to view followed by Champion Star, Hunting Boy and the rest three lengths behind. Royal Code held on well from Champion Star trying hard to catch the leader. Phar Lap finished on powerfully along the rails and so too Standing Ovation who traveled all the way wide and was seen finishing on.

Red Carpet led them all followed by True Value, Prohibition, Super Brand, Chief D Mission, Shikra, Mirbat Battle and the rest. Red Carpet was a clear two lengths ahead as they came to view followed by True Value, Prohibition coming well on the outside, Super Brand, Chief De Mission and Mirbat Battle. Prohibition took over soon from Red Carpet and won readily. Red Carpet stayed firm for second ahead of Super Brand & Mirbat Battle.
