Odds at Race Time: Absolutely Royal 80/100, Majestic Falcon 9/4, Gold City 8/1, Bountiful Light, Certain Smile and Sea Eagle all at 12/1.

Majestic Falcon showed plenty of early toe chased by Sea Eagle and Absolutely Royal with the second group compromising of Gold City, Bountiful Light and Certain Smile. Entering the home stretch, Majestic Falcon was challenged strongly by Sea Eagle with Absolutely Royal trying get on terms. Below the distance post Sea Eagle took charge to win easily from Absolutely Royal and Majestic Falcon.

At the request of Jockey Neeraj Rawal, ABSOLUTELY ROYAL was re-saddled at the start.

SEA EAGLE (App Amandeep Singh) was slightly troublesome to load. CERTAIN SMILE (App Md. Shabbani) was slow off losing about 3 to 4 lengths. ABSOLUTELY ROYAL (Neeraj Rawal) having her first career run drifted out at about the 150 metres, more so under whip. As no interference was caused, no action beyond noting the incident, was taken. The Jockey reported loss of whip at about the 100 metres.

Arabian Music was in front followed by Helegonia, Grand Pere, Aeropostale, Scorsese, Aromatique with Italian Hero a close last. At the bend it was Arabian Music in front chased by Helegonia with Italian Hero essaying his challenge six horses wide. Over The Limit was quickest out followed by Gallant Commander, India Quest, Foot Tapper, Charulata, Magic Mantra and Dance Music. Rounding the bend, Gallant Commander took over the running with Foot Tapper and Indian Quest making their moves with Charulata joining the fray. But at the distance Indian Quest got stronger and went on to win from the hard ridden Foot Tapper and Charulata.

Taking charge barely some 50 metres from start, Andrology made every post a winning thereafter. He was followed by Asiatique, Monticello, Havana, Royal Scandal, Salazaar and Fabulous Emperor. The only change at the finish was Monticello rallied on to take the runner-up berth from late finishing Royal Scandal who pegged back Salazaar to 4th spot on the post.

Pursuit Of Power in his customary style hit the front with Sea Siren, El Cid, Betelgeuse, Silent Hunter and Asmodeus in the order. Nearing the 1000 metres marker it was Pursuit Of Power still in front with Light My Fire breathing fire on the outside with Sea Siren dropping back followed by El Cid, Asmodeus, Betelgeuse and Silent Hunter. It was a two horse affair at the distance post with Light My Fire getting the better of Pursuit Of Power close home with Asmodeus and Silent Hunter filling up the frame.

App Amandeep Singh, the rider of SEA SIREN, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for shifting out after the start, bumping and causing interference to EL CID (G S Shekhawat) and LIGHT MY FIRE (Neeaj Rawal) on his outside.

Odds at Race Time: Desire Lad 9/4, Tip Toes 7/2, Lusitania 4/1, Shining Example, Corvino, and Secret Desire 6/1, Finders Keepers 8/1, Ferdunji Cooverji 10/1.

Secret Desire, Corvino and Shining Example disputed the early lead followed by Ferdunji Cooverji, Desire Lad, Lusitania, Finders Keepers and Tip Toes last as she stumbled at the start. Turning for home it was Shining Example in front with Secret Desire, Desire Lad making his move in the middle at the same juncture followed by Finders Keepers and the rest. Desire Lad was travelling the best of the lot below the distance and was an effortless winner from Finders Keepers.

The Manager – Veterinary Services reported that SHINING EXAMPLE (G S Shekhawat) returned bleeding from both nostrils and TIP TOES (App I Khan) returned lame on its left fore. Trs. Vikash Jaiswal and Patrick Quinn have been advised not to accept with their charges respectively till certified fit by the Manager – Veterinary Services.

Regent Appeal led briefly to be overtaken by Sovereign Power with Mustang Royal travelling six horse s wide with Royal County Down along the rails in turn followed by Fort Knox, Innovator and Wizard Of Oz in the rear. At the 600 metres marker Royal County Down brought the field into view with Mustang Royal still travelling six horses wide chased by Fort Knox and Innovator in the middle with others far behind. Fort Knox surged clear of the field some 100 metres from the home to hoist the winning flag with Innovator retaining the second spot ahead of Mustang Royal.
