1. Pesi Shroff in full flow on Averoof despite the saddle having
shifted back in the Kingfisher Derby 1999. Smart Chieftan who went on to become the Horse
of the Year (not seen in the picture) pipped Averoff on the post. This was the best ever
performance of Averoff who never reporduced that run in her subsequent races.
2. Yet another of those rare races when Pesi Shroff lost out in a close
finish. Santorini Star and Crown Treasure (on her right) engaged in a
absorbing duel for the Kingfisher Derby.

Vijay Mallya leads in Bonzer (Shroff up) after the
Green Forest progeny won the Justice Cup, 2000.
4. Pesi Shroff has no difficulty whatsoever in steering Littleover to a
splendid win in the Kingfisher Bangalore Derby.
5. Andreyev (Pesi Shroff up) being led in by trainer S Padmanabhan after
the Razeen progeny recorded a win which brought the gelding into Classic contention.
6. Pesi Shroff and Imtiaz Sait pose with the trophies along with RWITC Chairman Dr Cyrus Poonawalla
