Sir Michael Stoute trained Dank was ridden confidently by Rayan Moore to win the G1 Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf. Dansili’s Dank, who was coming into the race after her four and a half lengths win in the G1 Beverly D Stakes at Arlington in August, was sent in as the 6-4 favourite against her nine opponents for the mile and quarter trip.

Dank broke well from the gates and led early. Moore let the filly settle down in second when Emollient moved up to be the pacesetter along the backstretch. The filly headed to challenge the leader as they turned for home and took charge with a furlong left. Dank stayed well to maintain the advantage and hit the line half a length in front of Andre Fabre trained Romantica. Alterite finished third another half a length behind.

"I thought she was the best filly in the race and it worked out that way," said jockey Ryan Moore and added "She's a very good filly who has improved her whole career and has a very good win record - that's seven from 12 now."
