DIL CHAHTA HAI (V Jaiswal), SUNLIGHT KING (Gajender Singh) and GANGA BOSE (App Sk. Israil) were troublesome to load thereby delaying the start of the race by two minutes. HEER (App Afzal Khan) and GANGA BOSE (App Sk. Israil) were slow off losing about two lengths each. App V Aharwal, the rider of ASMODEUS who was making the running, was severely reprimanded for unnecessarily looking back on more than one occasion during the running of the race. He was further warned to be more careful in future. Mr. Vikash Jaiswal, the trainer of ASMODEUS (App V Aharwal), the winner of this race, was questioned regarding the improved performance of his charge as compared to its previous run in race No. 48 (The Allied Forces Handicap) when ridden by jockey Asghar the gelding had finished off board. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal stated that as the field was very weak comprising of non-winners and the extra distance was possibly to the gelding’s advantage, as such the performance, was noted. |
