Racing Incidents
FIRING POWER (M Reuben) was very fractious in the gates. Jockey I Chisty, the rider of BLUE CHALICE, reported that his mount was reluctant to be loaded and thereafter was fractious in the gates leaning onto the rear gates wherein he lost his left stirrup iron as the start was effected with the gelding losing over a distance. The stirrup iron was regained after a furlong, was noted. The Manager – Veterinary Services reported that BLUE CHALICE (I Chisty) sustained bleeding cut injury on his gum.
