Racing Incidents
DISCO STAR (App Amandeep Singh) was slow off losing about 2 lengths. RICH GALLERY (App Sameer Khan) played up on way to the start, dislodged the rider and bolted towards the parade ring and thereafter to the saddling enclosure. The rig was caught, examined by the Sr. Veterinary Officer, passed fit to race, and sent to the starting point, in the process delaying the start of the race. Tr. Shafiq Khan has been advised to school his charge better before next accepting with it. RICH GALLERY (App Sameer Khan) was observed to have been eased up in the last 200 metres. App Sameer Khan when questioned, stated that the rig was not galloping freely in the final straight as such he eased up the mount, was noted. The Sr. Veterinary Officer has been requested to examine the rig and submit his report. Jockey V Jaiswal, the rider of FLYING JAGUAR, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for excessive and improper use of the whip (1st offence).
