b f CERTAIN SMILE (Amandeep Singh) was slow to begin and ran detached from the field. Tr. D M David when questioned regarding the erratic performance of his charge acknowledged that the filly regularly raced in this manner and believed that it was due to the frequent cycle of its coming into season. This was substantiated by the Sr. Veterinary Officer under whose care the filly has been treated. However, in view of the filly’s pattern of running, Tr. D M David was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race.
