Racing Incidents
Approaching the 400 metres FABULOUS EMPEROR (A Imran Khan) was carried to the outer fence by VIGNET (App B Srinivas Rao). Thereafter, passing the distance post FABULOUS EMPEROR was checked by its rider when VIGNET further shifted ‘out’ and took its ground. Since b g VIGNET had behaved in a similar manner in all its previous runs, no immediate action was taken other than informing Mr. Rutherford Alford, trainer of VIGNET, that he must take all appropriate measures to avoid a similar situation, failing which a note on the behavior of the horse would be submitted to the Stewards for appropriate action.
