Racing Incidents
As in the previous occasion, ORO (App Ajoy Roy) stopped galloping from about the 400 metres and trailed the field. In view of its behaviour, Tr. Bath was informed not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race. Jockey Vinay Jaiswal, the rider of MAGIC MANTRA, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for the excessive and improper use of the whip (1st offence).
