Racing Incidents
An objection was lodged by Jockey C Alford, the rider of VALIDATE placed 3rd by theJudge against Jockey Vinay Jaiswal, the rider of ANDROLOGY placed 1st by the Judge on the grounds of "coming in at about the 700 metres whereby I had to check my mount, fall back and then I had to keep pushing him to come back into the race". Having considered the evidence tendered by Jockeys C Alford and Vinay Jaiswal and viewing the CCTV replay of the race, the Stewards resolved to over-rule the objection and decided to impose a fine of Rs. 5,000/- on Jockey C Alford for lodging a frivolous objection.
