At the request of Tr. Ms. Arti Doctor, ch f LUNAR QUEST, a declared starter in the above race was examined by the Sr. Veterinary Officer on the morning of 12th July 2011 and was found to be lame on her left hind. Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Ms. Arti Doctor was advised not to accept with her charge until certified fit by the Sr. Veterinary Officer.
AVON CREEK (B Gurang) and LOCAL WARRIOR (Sameer Khan) were slow to begin.
Passing the distance post GLORIOUS INVENTION (C Alford) drifted ‘outwards’ under pressure and momentarily inconvenienced MUST BE MAGIC (App Mohit Singh).App Ajoy Roy, the rider of CREDIT SWAP, when afforded an opportunity to explain the running and riding of his mount, stated that he was unable to ride his mount to complete advantage in the final 500 metres of the race due to his saddle shifting towards the near side of the horse. On immediate examination it was found that the saddle was otherwise well fitted, as such no action was taken beyond noting the incident.
