FLAMING LOVE (App Ankit Kumar) was fractious while being stalled.

AB IST OMEN (App Vikash Tamang) was slow to begin losing approximately three lengths at the start.  Tr. Sarfaraz Khan was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again.

When afforded an opportunity to explain the running of ch c EXPLORER’S QUEST, App  Md. Azharuddin stated in the presence of his master trainer Mr. D M David that he was instructed to be positioned 3^rd/4^th in the early and middle stages of the race and to do his best thereafter.  But when questioned by the Stipendiary Stewards  as to why he made no effort  to improve his position in the middle stages of the race when he had every opportunity to do so, the apprentice could give no plausible explanation.  Tr. D M David when questioned expressed his displeasure with the apprentice’s performance during the middle stages of the race.  The Stipendiary Stewards taking into consideration the experience of the apprentice informed him that he was being given a benefit of doubt in this instance, however, he was directed to report to Mr. N Bird, the Jockey Coach for appropriate instructions.  Tr. D M David was informed that his charges should be ridden in such  manner that leaves no room for query.
