Tr. Vikash Jaiswal when afforded an opportunity to explain the running pattern of his charge b g MISSION CHIEF, stated that he had instructed the Jockey be positioned 2^nd/3^rd in the early and middle stages of the race,  however, he (the jockey) was at liberty to lead the field  in the early and middle stages, if  circumstances permit.  These instructions had been consistently given to every rider in the gelding’s earlier races.  App Md. Sameer corroborated the instructions of the trainer in this and in race No. 118 run on 14^th January, 2012 when the gelding was ridden by him.  The same was also confirmed by Jockey Vinay Jaiswal, the rider of the gelding, in Race No. 148 run on 23^rd January, 2012.  The Stipendiary Stewards after repeatedly viewing the CCTV replay of this and earlier races,  advised Tr. Vikash Jaiswal to refrain from running the gelding over varied distances.
