Racing Incidents
b c HUNDRED PIPERS (Ch K Chary) was fractious while being stalled, the bridle having come off during the process.  Under the circumstances the colt was withdrawn with the permission of the Stewards before coming under Starter’s orders.  The Starting Stall Certificate of the colt has been revoked by the Starter.
 
b c RISE ABOVE was examined by the Veterinary Officer prior to being stalled and found to be lame on right fore.  Under the circumstances the colt was withdrawn with the permission of the Stewards before coming under Starter’s orders.  Tr.Shafiq Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
 
As stall Nos. 8 & 9 had become inoperative, the respective horses i.e., AMAZING SPEED and STAND APART (Shezad Khan) were re-stalled  in drawn No. 12 & 13.
 
AMAZING SPEED (Shailesh Shinde) was inclined to hang ‘out’ for a major part of the race.  Tr. Ms. Arti Doctor was advised to take appropriate corrective measures.
 
Approaching the 400 metres  A’MA SHUKUM (Surjeet Singh) and RAISE YOUR HANDS (C Alford) received various degrees of interference when TORCH OF LIFE (Vinay Jaiswal) galloping along the rails shifted ‘outwards’.  At a subsequent enquiry it was established that TORCH OF LIFE shifted ‘outwards’ to avoid the clipping of heels of AMAZING SPEED (Shailesh Shinde) which momentarily had shifted ‘inwards’.  Jockey Shailesh Shinde was shown the CCTV replay of the race and advised to exercise greater control over his mounts in future.
 
 
PROMISSORY NOTE (A M Tograllu) ran detached from the field.  Tr. Javed Khan was advised not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance.
