Jockey Aadesh Kumar, the rider of dk b f SPEED ANGEL, when afforded an opportunity to explain running of his charge stated that he had been instructed to place the filly in a position based on his judgment with respect to the pace of the race.  Therefore, having found the initial pace to be slow and not wanting to restrain the filly excessively he decided to gallop along at a steady pace to the front.  However, approaching the 1000 metres the filly started to race aggressively when SCHWARZENEGGER (Shailesh Shinde) raced along side but on entering the straight despite his best efforts his mount did not respond adequately.  The Stipendiary Stewards noted his explanation.
