ACCESSOR (Shezad Khan) was slow to begin.
 
Approaching the 400 metres NAUGHTY LASS (M F Ali Khan) travelling along the rails was momentarily inconvenienced when ROYAL SAGA (Pradeep Kumar) making progress on the outside shifted ‘in’ when not adequately clear of the other runner.  Jockey Pradeep Kumar was shown the CCTV replay of the race and reprimanded for the lapse.
 
Jockey Pradeep Kumar, the rider of ROYAL SAGA, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for excessive use of the whip on his mount (1st offence).
