Racing Incidents

OCEAN ELEMENT (Gajender Singh) was slow +to begin losing approximately two lengths at the start.An enquiry was held into the incident of interference received by HOT IRON (M F Ali Khan) passing the distance post.  At the conclusion of the enquiry it was established that PINE VALLEY (Imran Chisty) under pressure of the whip shifted ‘outwards’ and bumped HOT IRON.  Jockey Imran Chisty pleaded  guilty of careless riding and was fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/- for the lapse and further cautioned to exercise greater control over his mounts when placing them under pressure with the use of whip.

In the final 100 metres of the race BHIMA (Mohit Singh) under pressure momentarily drifted ‘outwards’.  Jockey Mohit Singh was advised to exercise greater control over his mounts when placing them under pressure.
