HURRICANE STAR (P Trevor) jumped awkwardly from the gates.

OCEAN CLIPPER (A Imran Khan) planted losing considerable ground at the start.  The Starting Stall Certificate of the mare has been revoked by the Starter and Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was informed not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race.

STRAUSS (Russell Xaviers) which was slow to begin trailed the field home.  Tr. C Gleich was advised to get his charge examined by the Veterinary Officer and report ailment, if any,  further not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a speed trial over a distance of 800 metres during the hours of morning track work.

Jockey Haroon Khan, the rider of RAPPADAN GLORY, was fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/- for failing to infuse adequate vigour to his riding in the final 400 metres of  the race.  Tr. Rutherford Alford was advised to ensure that his charges are ridden in such a manner that leaves no room for query.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of  LAKE LEADER, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for excessive use of the whip on his mount (1^st offence).

Jockey P Trevor, the rider of HURRICANE STAR, reported that the saddle used on his mount shifted back during the running of the race and, as such, he was unable to ride his mount to complete advantage.  Tr. Bharath Singh was fined a sum of Rs. 500/- for the faulty saddling and advised to be more careful in future.
