SCHWARZENEGGER (D Gnaneshwar) and ROYAL COMPANION (App Arman Khan) were slow to begin losing approximately three lengths at the start.  In view of their behaviour Trs. Vikash Jaiswal and D M David were informed not to accept their charges until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

ROMAN CENTURION (M F Ali Khan) was inconvenienced soon after the start when ARABICA (P Trevor) jumped awkwardly ‘inwards’.

The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race with particular reference to the fall of Jockey N S Parmar  from his mount BEETHOVEN  approaching the 1000 metres marker and interviewed Jockey Vinay Jaiswal, the rider of CREDIT EASE, Jockey Shailesh Shinde, the rider of AUTOCRAT and Jockey Shezad Khan, the rider of ARTEMISIA.  After due enquiry, the Stewards were of the opinion that the fall of BEETHOVEN was primarily caused by the dangerous riding of Jockey Vinay Jaiswal , the rider of CREDIT EASE, placed 4^th  by the Judge and decided to disqualify CREDIT EASE from the race and revise the order of placings as under :-

           ARTEMISIA                           -           1^st

           AUTOCRAT                           -           2^nd

           RIVER PRIDE                        -           3^rd

           ARABICA                               -           4^th

           SCHWARZENEGGER           -           5^th

The Stewards continued with the enquiry as the Stipendiary Stewards charged Jockey Vinay Jaiswal under Rule 161(i) for dangerous riding.  At the conclusion of the enquiry the Stewards taking into account, submissions made by Jockey Vinay Jaiswal, his record and mitigating circumstances, decided to suspend him from riding in races on 22^nd, 26^th,  29^th September and 3^rd October, 2012 for dangerous riding.  The jockey was informed of his right to appeal and was permitted to ride work.
