Passing the 400 metres AL ATTATURK (P. Kamlesh) was momentarily inconvenienced when attempting to make progress between GENEROUS THOUGHT (App Jorawar Singh) and BEYOND STARS (Imran Chisty).

b h ALEXANDER (Kishore Kadam) was eased by its Jockey passing the distance post and finished off the race detached from the field.  The rider when afforded an opportunity to explain the running of his mount stated that despite his urgings, his mount failed to respond.  Trainer Deepak Karki when questioned stated that his charge had not run for a long period of time and was in dire need of this race run.  The Stipendiary Stewards informed Mr. Deepak Karki that he must present his charges to race with a degree of fitness.  As such he was informed not to accept with this horse until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race.

LAKE MICHIGAN (App Zarar Alam) returned bleeding after the race from left nostril.  Tr. Patrick Quinn was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
