On the morning of 23^rd July, 2013, the Veterinary Officer reported that b g NOBLE DEFENDER, an acceptor in the above race, had developed laminitis on both fore.  Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn on veterinary grounds.  Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

ACACIO (Sk Zaffar Riaz) was fractious in its stall.

IRISH CONNECTION (App Rajesh Ujgare) planted losing considerable ground at the start. The  Starting Stall Certificate of IRISH CONNECTION has been revoked by the Starter.

Some distance after the start SECRET WSHISPERS (App Md Imran Ashraf, drawn 2) was checked by its rider and lost some ground when APICAL FINALA (Amandeep Singh, drawn 1) and ACACIO (Sk Zaffar Riaz, drawn 3) jumped awkwardly ‘outwards’ and ‘inwards’ respectively.

Jockey C Alford, the rider of ALCANDER, reported that his mount was inclined to run out between the 800 metres and 400 metres markers.  Tr. Vijay Singh was advised to take appropriate remedial measures.
