6th RACE (97) THE CALCUTTA FILLIES TRIAL STAKES – For Indian Fillies 3 years old only (About) 1400 Metres (3.45/3.45) : 6 runners

From the test reports dated 17.9.2013 received from The CVRL, EFU Dubai, it was observed that the analysis of the Urine Sample taken from b f ESCAPE TO VICTORY, trained by Mr. Javed Khan and owned by Mr. Ajay Jalan rep. Ultimo Stud Farm Pvt Ltd & Mr. Rohit Gupta rep. Rolli Stud Dairy & Agricultural Farm Pvt Ltd had shown the presence of “ORTHOCETAMOL”, a prohibited substance under the Rules of Medication and Treatment of Horses in Training & Racing and Anti Doping Control.  The sample was taken after the filly’s run in Race No. 97 of the Calcutta Monsoon Meeting 2013 on 7th September, 2013. 

As the trainer had opted not to send the split sample (B sample) for confirmatory analysis, the Stewards, Royal Calcutta Turf Club, taking into cognizance the result of the ‘A’ sample as final, ordered the disqualification of  b f ESCAPE TO VICTORY, placed 2nd  by the Judge in the above race and revised the order of placings as under :-
