MARINA BAY (App Vikash Tamang) was fractious while being stalled.

REGAL OPPORTUNITY (Shezad Khan) was slow to begin.

BLACK CAVIOUR (Mohit Singh) jumped awkwardly from the gates.

GOOD WOOD QUEEN (Ramandeep S Bal, drawn 6), AVIETTE (C Alford, drawn 7) and VALEROSA (P Trevor, drawn 8) received various degrees of inconvenience when RASPUTIN (Md Shabbani, drawn 5) jumped awkwardly ‘outwards’ from the gates.

Some distance after the start MARINA BAY (App Vikash Tamang) travelling on the rails was checked by its rider when running into the heels of BALLET BELLE (B Sreekanth) which shifted ‘inwards’.  Jockey B Sreekanth was shown the CCTV replay of the race and advised to be more careful in future when changing ground.

Approaching the 900 metres GOOD WOOD QUEEN (Ramandeep S Bal) which was carried ‘outwards’ by BLACK CAVIER (Mohit Singh) was checked by its rider and lost some ground when running into the heels of VALEROSA (P Trevor).

RASPUTIN (Md Shabbani) was eased by its rider passing the distance post.  On immediate veterinary examination the gelding was found to have developed mild stiffness on hind quarters.  Tr. Sarfaraz Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Sr. Veterinary Officer.

REGAL OPPORTUNITY (Shezad Khan) finished off the race detached from the field.  Tr. H S Bath was advised not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance.
