OCEAN SUNRISE (App Md Javed) was fractious in its stall.

LAKE LEADER (Jugnu Gurung) refused to raise a fluent gallop soon after the start and AMIKA (Sk Zaffar Riaz) stood flat footed as the start was effected and  lost considerable ground.  In view of their behaviour,  Trs. Patrick Quinn and  Jasbir Singh were informed not to accept with their respective charges until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter/Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race.

Jockey Ramandeep S Bal, the rider of AUTOCRAT, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for the excessive use of whip on his mount (1^st offence) and a further sum of Rs. 2,000/- for the indiscriminate use of whip on his mount.  The Jockey was advised to report to Jockey Coach Mr. P Alford for appropriate corrective measures.  Further, Mr.   C Gleich, trainer of AUTOCRAT,  was once again cautioned to ensure  that jockeys declared to ride his charges do not exceed the stipulated number of times a whip could be used on an animal and should this advice not be heeded, he too would  be held equally responsible for the misuse of the whip.
