For running his charge SREEYANTRA with shoes other than those declared, Tr. D Karki was fined a sum of Rs. 500/-.

EBONY PRINCESS (M F Ali Khan) was very fractious and refused to be stalled.  Under the circumstances the mare was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.  The Starting Stall Certificate of the mare has been revoked by the Starter.

MY BOY LOLLIPOP (Md Islam), ICE FESTIVAL (Sk Israil), MARINA BAY (App Arman Khan) and SREEYANTRA (App Zarar Alam) were slow to begin.

Tr. D M David when given an opportunity to explain the indifferent performance of his charge  dk b g ROMAN CENTURION compared to its previous run on 9^th October, 2013 stated that the gelding performs best when run over a longer distance and that he had not accepted the gelding to run since October 2013 as it was under medical treatment.  Jockey B Sreekanth when questioned regarding the running of his mount stated that he was instructed to be alert at the start as the gelding had a tendency to be tardily out of the gates and thereafter do his best.  He corroborated the trainer’s statement that the gelding performs best when raced over a longer distance.  The Stipendiary Stewards noted their explanations.
