Racing Incidents

On the morning of Saturday, 7th December, 2013  b f AVISION, a declared starter in this race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to be suffering from severe dermatitis (skin) problem.  Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn on veterinary grounds.  Tr. Manvendra Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

IRISH CONNECTION (App Rajesh Ujgare) and GOLIATH (Md. Islam) arrived late at the start thereby delaying the proceeding of the start.  Trs. DM David and R Gowli were advised to ensure that their charges arrive in time to the starting point.

App Rajesh Ujgare, the rider of IRISH CONNECTION, was reprimanded for traveling wide off the field for no apparent reason.  Further, he was advised to report to Jockey Coach Mr. P Alford for appropriate corrective measures.

Jockey Md. Islam, the rider of GOLIATH, was reprimanded for unnecessarily shouting out during the running of the race.  Further he was informed that should he repeat this undesirable practice, he would be dealt with appropriately.
