Racing Incidents

PROMISSORY NOTE (App Vikash Tamang) arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race.  Tr. Rodrigues Jr. was advised to ensure that in future his charge arrives to the start on time.

SCHWARZENEGGER (Imran Chisty) and RISE ABOVE (Nelson Maseyk) were slow to begin.

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SCHWARZENEGGER, reported that his saddle shifted forward during the running of the race but did not affect his ability to ride his mount to complete advantage.  Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised to be more careful in future regarding saddling.

Passing the distance post SCHWARZENEGGER (Imran Chisty), RISE ABOVE (Nelson Maseyk) and DANCE IN CHINA (Vinay Jaiswal) drifted to the outer portion of the race track under pressure.

The Veterinary Officer reported that CLASSICAL ROMANCE returned bleeding from both nostrils.  Tr. Bharath Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until passed fit by the Veterinary Officer.

At the conclusion of an enquiry after the last race Jockey Nelson Maseyk, the rider of RISE ABOVE, pleaded guilty to the charge of excessive use of the whip (3rd offence).  Under the circumstances the Stewards decided to suspend him from riding in races on 28th & 29th January, 2014.
