SREEPUTRA (App Zarar Alam) arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings.  Tr. Patrick Quinn was advised to ensure that his charges reach to the start on time.

ATHLETICO (Vinay Jaiswal) was fractious while being stalled.

PICKWICK (S S Rathore) was troublesome while being loaded and fractious in its stall.  Under the circumstances Tr. Sarfaraz Khan was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

Passing the 1200 metres SREEPUTRA (App Zarar Alam) travelling along the rails was checked by its rider and lost some ground when running into the heels of DESERT FOX (App Md Azharuddin).

ZEGNA (M F Ali Khan) was inconvenienced due to a tightly packed field approaching the 900 metres.

Approaching the 800 metres PICKWICK (SS Rathore) was checked by its jockey and lost some ground when ATHLETICO (Vinay Jaiswal) shifted ‘inwards’.  At a subsequent Jockey Vinay Jaiswal was shown the CCTV of the race and reprimanded for shifting course when not sufficiently clear of the other runner and further informed that should he continue to ride in a similar manner, he would be dealt with appropriately.

Approaching the 600 metres ATHLETICO (Vinay Jaiswal) was inconvenienced when ZEGNA (M F Ali Khan) shifted ‘inwards’.
