LE CHOCOLAT (Mohit Singh) was very fractious in its stall and bolted rider less. Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. C Gleich was informed not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a Barrier Trial during the hours of morning track work.

DANCE IN CHINA (Imran Chisty) was slow to begin.

Some distance after the start SREEMOHINI (I Khan) travelling along the rails shifted ‘outwards’ and severely interfered with DANCE IN CHINA (Imran Chisty) which was making progress on the wider outside. At a subsequent enquiry both the Jockeys were shown the CCTV replay of the race, Jockey I Khan stated that he was instructed to go to the front and on finding himself covered for room soon after the start he later shifted ‘outwards’ to obtain a clear run. The Stipendiary Stewards being satisfied that the interference caused to DANCE IN CHINA was due to the careless riding of Jockey I Khan who maneuvered ‘outwards’ unmindful of the interference that he may or will cause to another runner, decided to fined him a sum of Rs. 2,500/- for careless riding. The jockey was advised to report to Mr. P Alford, Jockey Coach for guidance.

Sk Zaffar Riaz, the rider of AMBAA, reported loss of whip approaching the 200 metres.
