Racing Incidents

MALPENSA (Shrikant Kamble) and ARTESIA (C Alford) were very fractious while being stalled and delayed the start of
the race. In view of their behaviour Trs. Bharath Singh and Manvendra Singh were informed not to accept with their respective charges until passed in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

Jockey Shrikant Kamble, the rider of MALPENSA, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip (1st
offence) and a further sum of Rs. 2,000/- for the indiscriminate use of the whip on his mount.
