CHALA JA BACHHA (S John) was fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked by the Starter.

ALMARADA (Shailesh Shinde, drawn 3) which was fractionally slow to begin was inconvenienced soon after the start when WINDS OF THE OCEAN (Md Islam, drawn 4) jumped awkwardly ‘inwards’ from the gates.

LANTANA LADY (S Zervaan) jumped awkwardly from the gates.

Tr. Bharath Singh when afforded an opportunity to explain the change in the pattern of running of his charge b h WINDS OF THE OCEAN in this race as well as Race No. 113 as compared to its run in Race No. 46 where it led the field from the word ‘go’ and continued to do so till passing the winning post, stated that in all the three races he had given similar instructions to the jockey i.e., to settle his charge in 3rd/4th position. However, in Race No. 46 the jockey found himself in front of the field and continued in that position till passing the winning post. He further stated that he would continue to give the same instructions to his jockeys in its future races. The Stipendiary Stewards noted his explanations and informed Tr. Bharath Singh that they will keep a close watch on the running pattern of the horse.
