SIMPLE SIMON (Dashrath Singh) was slow to begin.

Approaching the distance post SIMPLE SIMON (Dashrath Singh) and LEGENDS ORDER (P Trevor) making progress on the outside were inconvenienced when b f ADANNA (Sameer Khan) drifted ‘outwards’. At a subsequent enquiry Jockey Sameer Khan and Mr. Vijay Singh, the trainer of the filly, were interviewed and Tr. Vijay Singh was reminded that during the current and in the seasons past it has been recorded in a number of races that horses under his charge had repeatedly drifted ‘outwards’ at various stages of a race in spite of the best efforts of their riders. Under the circumstances the Stipendiary Stewards strongly advise him to take appropriate corrective measures in the management of his stable especially in the realm of dentistry. Further, should his charges show no visible signs of improvement in their running habits appropriate action would be taken by the Stipendiary Stewards.
